We see software localization as a full adaptation of a product to a particular market. A complex process, it comprises, among others, establishing the terminology and translation rules, technical verification, and specifying technical solutions which aid the control of the many languages in the application. All descriptions and names of all options in a program, as well as help and the operating instructions, are translated. Localization also comprises adapting a system to the regulations and legal norms of a destination country.
