Models

Having worked with our clients for many years, we have realized that an effective model of cooperation is characterized by several factors, like the individuality of a project, its complexity, and the time assigned to complete it, combined with a client’s preferences. In our daily work we use the following payment models.

Fixed price

The final price and the deadline are negotiated before the work is started and are included in the contract. The contractor bears the full financial responsibility for underestimating the cost of the project.

Applicable:

In well-specified projects, with a minimal risk of under-, or overestimating. The specification and the cost of a project are included in the contract, making it impossible to introduce any changes to the requirements. This model of work relies on good cooperation with a client (i.e. prompt replies to any queries), which ensures meeting the deadlines fixed.

Realization:

In most cases the work comprises the whole of a project. Precise specification is required, being the basis on which the offer and the contract are prepared. While any imprecise parts are explained, the client receives our support as to possible solutions and their pros and cons.

Advantages for a customer:

Fixed and stable costs. The risk of underestimation is on the contractor’s part.

Time and materials

The client covers the cost of materials and of the time devoted to the project. The time and cost estimate is made regularly at the times appointed in advance. The project is only preliminary priced before the work is commenced.

Applicable:

In large and long-term projects. Always, when only general goals are fixed and a project entails finding a way of achieving them either independently or together with the customer. For projects which involve finding ways to resolve a problem (e.g. fixing bugs).

Realization:

The work on a project can begin at any stage of its completion. The cooperation starts with decomposing a system, estimating its particular elements and specifying the time of their delivery. Payments are made gradually, according to the timetable of deliveries.

Advantages for a customer:

Scope for changes in the specification and in the project deadline.

On site

The customer covers the cost of the materials, of the time devoted to the project and the cost of our employees’ accommodation and stay at the location chosen by the customer. The summary of time and expenses is made regularly at times appointed in advance.

Applicable:

In projects which need immediate implementation and which require close cooperation between a customer and our firm, also when the work needs the use of the equipment which is impossible to transport, for legal or data security reasons. Finally, when the work is done on systems already working.

Realization:

Our team works in mixed groups, collectively with the customer’s employees, usually at his HQs, which greatly facilitates the integration of both teams. Our experts are constantly in touch with the problem area and have access to the client’s specialized equipment which is often difficult to transport.

Advantages for a customer:

The work is easily managed and our human resources are directly accessed. Our engineers can work with customer’s equipment.
